Welcome! I'll start with a short intro. My name is Brigitte. pronounced Bri-jzeet.
Moved here in 2010 with my hubs and kids. Hubs, Tom and I born and raised in NJ. We were a young homeschooling family who loved the jersey shore when we decided to buy our first home here in Bradley. Kids were 3 & 6. It was great homeschooling at the beach! Since being here, we have owned two businesses on Main St. One still exists, the other was closed. We purchased a neighboring property that now is our only property in town. It's home, it's fabulous and I love calling BB home! We built it, and it was with the experience of building a home in this town that has moved me to becoming more involved. I specifically put in so much time and effort to understand zoning and building policies so that I can do it all correctly. I am a by the book gal. I like to follow rules but I more so LOVE fairness. I quickly began to learn how dirty politics doesn't do fairness, and didn't even do kindness well. If you have met me over those years, you probably know my story. So, I will leave today with that and maybe on my blogging journey, I will hit some detailed personal history. For now, I will blog in the present time as there is a lot to talk about.
