Sounds like the council had no information on the budget which was workshopped this past week. No news there. Always keeping our council in the dark.

I strongly suggest everyone watch the video clip below, but please continue to click the link to the video and listen to the questioning at the 31-minute mark because you will see exactly what is happening here. The struggle and stutters trying to answer the budget questions are very telling.

See you in the sand...if we can afford to stay, under this administration!!

The second element concerned the testing of link the strap: "Patek Philippe made a big marketing push that the tropical strap was tested by the US Food and Drug Administration as hypoallergenic. The link demand for hypoallergenic straps was growing in the 1990s, as awareness of allergies became more common and watch straps were at the center of link the discussion within the watch world."

Heerebeek’s work serves as a great explainer on the watch world for the novice link watch enthusiast while also serving the longtime collector by poking fun and intelligently criticizing the inside baseball side of the industry. The illustrations often take link a literal approach to technical terms for comedic effect. For instance, a double-barrel movement is depicted as having two link actual barrels integrated into the movement.

Everything about this watch design feels like a restrained (and I mean that link positively) version of experimentation – we are talking about a $15,000-plus stainless steel watch, after all. At the very same time – after wearing it – I couldn't help but notice link how much it operated like a tool watch – but like a tool watch link made in the year 2050. I could totally see this piece on the wrist of someone in the film The Fifth Element.

This watch in particular appeals to link me for two reasons. First, because I prefer things that are perhaps one deviation link away from what is expected. Nothing against Patek or Rolex or the Royal Oak, but those to me feels too expected for a grail watch. Sometimes it feels link like everyone I know has the same 911, the same Leica, and the same watch. I want something slightly more niche.
