Let Lame Ducks Lie

I was so bothered by the $440,000 to be approved without any residents having knowledge on the specifics of these projects. And what about resident feedback for Main St, or the pump house on the boardwalk? Or any projects in general? THIS IS OUR TOWN AS A WHOLE! We need unity and we need leadership to bring that forward.
Yesterday, I asked the borough for the specifics of these proposals and was told I can’t have them. So WHY ON EARTH WOULD OUR LEGISLATORS BE VOTING ON SOMETHING THAT A RESIDENT CANNOT GIVE FEEDBACK ON??
Anyhow, I am trying my hardest to not allow my frustrations continue while we can atleast ask our legislators to let Larry Fox sit as a lame duck.
I can’t help but to voice the need for the simplicity of small town government. We are in a crucial election this year and we MUST be sure that we get back to basics of small town government.
PEOPLE MATTER! BRADLEY BEACH MATTERS!
Because Councilman Gubitosi asked our borough attorney if the public can see the proposals, we got a clear answer; YES WE CAN SEE THEM, because they are from the professionals the borough hired.
Erica the clerk has already sent them to me and I look forward to reading through and will happily share them if people would like.
Here’s a little highlight of last night’s meeting. So all along we were allowed to have the information that I asked for. Had I had this information prior to the meeting, I wouldn’t have had to raise my frustration for not having information. Possibly frustration on cost🥴 but not on simple government practices of letting residents in on what is being voted on.
See you in the sand…it’s pup season 🐾
