319 Lareine Ave church property should go down in history with what it was to its parishioners.
It should NOT go down as the poison in Bradley Beach elections! But here we are. The video shows it all.
Timeline:
-Last October 2023, Mayor and Council were ON THE SAME PAGE! YAY! To subdivide, deed restrict the property for sale etc. RESIDENTS WERE LOUD ON NOT SPENDING ANOTHER PENNY ON THIS PROPERTY!! Mayor and Council were in agreement. So refreshing!
-As the next several months passed, It wasn't getting put in front of the land use board. No answers on why it hadn't gone to land use board.
-By January and February 2024, residents asked for progress. Council had no updates from the administration. Fox and administrator mentioned RFP's. No one understood what was happening and it was never shared, even though it was questioned time and time again.
-Spring of 2024, still questions asked and no answers, no updates, no workshops and STILL NOT PUT IN FRONT OF THE LAND USE BOARD.
-Here we are in September 2024, A BIG MAYORAL ELECTION SEASON
We were presented with a workshop as if we are repeating last October information with some new talk about now having property demoed ourselves. So spending money now on taking down the church ourselves, however, all are in favor of just moving forward of course.
We deserve so much better in this town. Our council members pushed to try to get this done before this election season. Agreement was finally made last year. And here we are, stalled this entire year with no answers at all, right into election season. It is so very sad. We do not need any more division or any more poison.
This church is being USED as THE GREAT DIVIDE.
Last night was very eye-opening on how this church is being USED for this election. Any candidate, especially who hasn't been involved in any workshops and meetings in these past years, should be ashamed to be using this church as their campaign strategy. Have the facts!! It is a disrespect to the history of the church and to the Bradley Beach residents who deserve so much more.
See you in the local summer sand...try a smile.
Last week we highlighted a handful of watches that link recommend themselves for link everyday wear – less flash, more versatility, and exciting enough to monopolize your wrist time. No major surprise: They link were all stainless steel.
At the time, I had two Arabic-dial watches in my collection: A Breitling Aerospace (a gift from King Abdullah of link Jordan), and an Arabic link Breitling Aviator 8 Etihad Limited link "Middle East" Edition in black steel. With an Arabic-dial Rolex an unobtainable grail, the promise of adding another Arabic dial to my collection for well under $200 was irresistible.
It wasn't always his brand. Welsbro was founded way back in 1926 by the Weissman Watch Company on 47th Street in link New York City. Weissman imported watch components from Switzerland and assembled the watches stateside under the Welsbro label. Like many, the brand folded during the quartz crisis, and as a relatively small-time link watch link producer it would have certainly remained gone and forgotten ... until Reichbach and his wife, Katie Willis, brought it back from the dead.
