Here are just a few clips from our September 28th council meeting. I urge every resident to take the time to watch the entire evening. The YouTube link is below. It is very telling about our Mayor and who he supports. It also makes the Mayor’s agendas very obvious during this election season. I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION. The Mayor and his agendas support Tom Gavin, Deb Bruynell, Meredith DeMarco and Tim Sexsmith.

The CANDIDATES WHO SUPPORT WE THE PEOPLE , are transparent, and protect our town are Jane DeNoble, Al Gubitosi, Randy Bonnell and John Weber.

Stand for truth. Stand for unity. Stand for good. Stand for community. Time for the people to take back Bradley Beach.

There were still several lots to link go before the Anniversary watch sale, so we decided grab a table in the lobby bar. The group included Roger, link Claude Sfeir, myself, a very nice man named Hamdan Bin Humaid (who I realized very link quickly was the man behind so many of the cool projects I'd seen online for independent watches in the Middle East), a great American collector named Mike S., Hodinkee's own Malaika Crawford, and at times, a few others. Here are a few of the watches from around the table.

The Blue Phoenix does share the oil-slick sheen of its earlier siblings, but the palette is predominantly blue – a deep, link indigo blue; a Monet Water Lilies blue; a Van Gogh Starry Night blue. As with Starry link Night, the warmer colors are there link basically to punch up the ultramarine quotient.

When Rolex released the first iteration of what we now call the Root Beer GMT in 1970 life was simple. The Boeing 747 was democratizing link air travel, push-button phones were popping up in suburban homes across America, disco music was being blasted in cars link that were way too optimistically designed (especially for an impending gas crisis), and people wore bell-bottoms and link said groovy a lot.

I attended the first few hours of this meeting but because it went 4 hours I had to leave and watch the rest on video. The meeting was disgraceful and infuriating. I've vented in other forums so I will limit my comments. I'll just say I am very disappointed with the leadership of the borough.

One thing though, I wouldn't lump Meredith Demarco with the others. I work with Meredith on the Environmental Commission and she is outstanding. Smart, dedicated, and open-minded, I understand why Larry would like and perhaps even endorse her. But I believe anyone who thinks she will be Larry's toady is mistaken. She is pleasant and get's along with everyone and would not alienate the rest…

Brigitte,

Thank you for helping residents see through the dirty politics that Mayor Fox, Tim Sexsmith and Kim Humphries are perpetrating. The last Council meeting was disgraceful and re-watching that a couple times I was stunned by the arrogance of this Mayor, BA and Council President Tim Sexsmith (wasn’t he going to resign, should have). Their indignation and lack of respect throughout this last council meeting was disgraceful, especially when Ms. Humphries stormed out of the meeting (not the first time either like a spoiled child temper tantrum) along with BB hired Counsel, Greg Cannon. They returned to the meeting but the statement to tax payers was obvious. They have an agenda and when it doesn’t work out their way,…
